Dubai chocolate has become a viral sensation lately, with many people throughout the world clamoring for that mix of Belgian chocolate filled with layers of Middle Eastern pastry and pistachio cream.
It is also a delicacy, as prices for Dubai chocolate have started at $14.99, according to Lindt’s website.
But you might want to be wary about this one Dubai chocolate spread that has been recalled due to contamination with Salmonella.
According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the recall affects Emek Spread Pistachio Cacao Cream with Kadayif, in a 9.7-ounce container with a sell-by date of April 1, 2027.
The affected products’ batch number is 250401, and they were distributed from June 11 to July 9, 2025.
The Dubai chocolate spread was sold in World Market stores in New Jersey.
