Jeep is recalling more than 1 million vehicles due to a fire hazard, and the company is warning owners to park their vehicles outside for safety reasons.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the model years affected are 2021 – 2025 Jeep Wranglers and Gladiators.
“The electric hydraulic power steering pump wiring may overheat and cause a vehicle fire, even when the vehicle is parked with the ignition in the “Off” position,” the NHTSA said.
