Popular Soup Sold at NJ Whole Foods Recalled

A soup sold at Whole Foods supermarkets in the tri-state region has been recalled, the FDA announced Thursday.

Kettle Cuisine is recalling 24-ounce cups of Whole Foods Market Kitchen Minestrone Soup, as the item may contain undeclared shrimp.

The product is also sold on Amazon’s website.

People who have a shellfish allergy may end up with a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if the soup is consumed.

The recalled product is packaged in a clear plastic container marked with the Lot Code: 1762181, with a use-by date of 05/27/26 on the top rim of the cup. The UPC identifier, 099482502065, is located on the back label.
