Costco Recalls Popular Ravioli Sold in NJ

by | May 20, 2026 | Personal Injury, Product Liability

A public health alert has been issued by the United States Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service for a pasta product sold at Costco stores in New Jersey and Maryland.

The product, Giovanni Rana RANA Rustic Beef Sauce & Creamy Burrata Cheese Ravioli, may actually contain a different product, according to the alert.

Instead of ravioli containing beef and burrata, Costco reportedly received consumer complaints that the packaging actually contained shrimp ravioli.

Affected products were produced between March 10 and April 21, 2026, with use-by dates ranging from May 14 to June 25, 2026. Products have a USDA mark os inspection with establishment number “Est. 44870.”

Letters were sent to consumers, warning of the mislabeling and undeclared shellfish and crustacean allergens.

If you or a loved one has suffered losses due to consuming this or any Costco product, you may be entitled to compensation. To learn more, contact the trusted attorneys at Breslin and Breslin today.
