Mitsubishi is recalling more than 108,000 vehicles due to a defect that involves the vehicles’ liftgate gas spring cylinders.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, 108,046 2018-2022 Outlander PHEV and 2014-2020 Outlander vehicles are being recalled because the gas spring cylinders could lose pressure, causing them to rupture.
This could increase the risk of an injury, the NHTSA warned.
