A recall has been issued involving salmon sold at BJ’s Wholesale Club stores in several states, including in New York and New Jersey.
Slade Gorton & Company is recalling two-pound bags of its Wellsley Farms farm-raised Atlantic salmon after FDA testing found listeria in a random sample.
The affected product was sold at BJ’s stores in several states between Jan. 31 and Feb. 7.
BJ’s is notifying members who have purchased the salmon while the company investigates how the contamination happened.
