Ford is recalling more than 410,000 vehicles due to a defect that involves a faulty rear suspension.
This faulty suspension can cause a loss of steering control, increasing the risk of a crash, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
The automaker recalled 412,774 2017-2019 Explorer vehicles because of a fracture in the vehicles’ rear link toe suspension.
