A supplement sold nationwide is being recalled after it was discovered that products were contaminated with mold, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
Qunol Extra Strength Turmeric Capsules were sold in New York and New Jersey, among other states.
According to the FDA, Quten Research Institute LLC in Pine Brook, NJ, initiated the recall.
The affected products are:

Recalled products also have the following lot numbers: 12811C120, BIO7771, 12811C120BJ, BIO7772, 12811C60, BIO8281.
The FDA has issued a Class II classification, meaning the use of or exposure to affected products may cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences.
