Popular Ready-to-Eat Chicken Recalled Over Listeria Concern

by | Jan 27, 2026 | Product Liability

More than 13,000 pounds of ready-to-eat grilled chicken are being recalled in seven states due to potential listeria contamination.

According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service, Georgia-based Suzanna’s Kitchen recalled 13,720 pounds of ready-to-eat grilled chicken breast fillets because they might be contaminated with listeria.

Officials discovered the potential contamination after a third-party lab sample of the chicken fillets tested positive for the harmful bacteria.

The recalled chicken breast fillets were sold in 10-pound cases containing 5-pound bags. Each of the units contain the lot code 60104 P1382 287 5 J14, found on the side of the 10-pound case and on the two 5-pound bags. According to the FSIS, the recalled chicken had a production date of Oct. 14, 2025.

Consumers who have purchased the recalled chicken and have it in their possession should “not eat them” and throw them away or return them to their place of purchase for a full refund, according to the FSIS.

If you or a loved one has suffered losses due to consuming this or any Suzanna’s Kitchen product, you may be entitled to compensation. To learn more, contact the experienced personal injury lawyers at Breslin and Breslin today.
