Mindbodygreen issued the recall for about 148,370 Ultimate Multivitamin+ dietary supplement bottles after determining the packaging doesn’t meet federal child-resistant standards, the Consumer Product Safety Commission announced on Wednesday, Jan. 29. The supplements contain iron, which is required under the Poison Prevention Packaging Act to be sold in child-resistant containers.
The bottles aren’t child-resistant, creating a poisoning hazard if young children swallow many pills. No injuries or incidents have been reported, according to the CPSC.
The recall covers Ultimate Multivitamin+ supplements sold in eight-ounce amber glass bottles with black caps, each containing 60 capsules. The affected bottles can be identified by specific UPCs, lot numbers, and manufacturing dates printed on the label.
The products were sold online at Mindbodygreen.com from November 2021 through November 2025. They cost between $40 and $70, depending on the subscription.
