Boar’s Head Recalls Two Popular Cheese Products

by | Nov 26, 2025 | Personal Injury, Product Liability

Boar’s Head announced a recall on two of its most popular cheese products just days before Thanksgiving.

The reason for the recall is due to listeria contamination, according to the company’s supplier, Ambriola Company.

Ambriola Company has classified the recall as a Class I recall, the most serious designation for a recall because listeria contamination can lead to severe illness or death, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

No illnesses or adverse reactions have been reported to date.

The Boar’s Head products affected by this recall include their pecorino romano cheese grated in 6-ounce containers, as well as whole pecorino romano cheese in 7-ounce packaging.

The two products were shipped to stores nationwide.

If you or a loved one has suffered losses due to consuming these or any Boar’s Head products, you may be entitled to compensation. To learn more, contact the trusted personal injury attorneys at Breslin and Breslin today.
