More than 400,000 Toyota cars are being recalled due to light failures that could impact visibility.
According to a notice first reported to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) on May 19, the recall covers 443,444 cars with model years 2022 through 2025.
The reverse lights on affected cars may fail over time due to moisture entering the light assemblies. If both lights fail, it may reduce visibility for the driver when backing up and fail to notify pedestrians and other vehicles that the car is reversing, increasing crash risk.
The recalled models are:
- 2022-2025 Toyota Tundra
- 2022-2025 Toyota Tundra Hybrid
If you or a loved one has suffered losses due to operating these, or any, Toyota model, you may be entitled to compensation. To find out more, contact the trusted personal injury attorneys at Breslin and Breslin today.
