Over 60k Pounds of Pork Buns Recalled by NJ Company

by | Apr 30, 2025 | Personal Injury, Product Liability

A New Jersey food company is recalling more than 64,000 pounds of pork bun products after it was discovered that the items contained an undeclared allergen, according to a statement released by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).

ACC Central Kitchen LLC, based in Thorofare, NJ, is recalling approximately 64,008 pounds of frozen, not-ready-to-eat Soupy Pork Buns with Crab Roe after the presence of sesame—a known allergen—was found in the product but not listed on the packaging label.

The recalled items were produced on various dates beginning November 28, 2023, and were distributed to retail stores in New York.

The affected product is packaged in 8.45-ounce sleeve tray packages under the label “3 Meals A Day SOUPY PORK BUN WITH CRAB ROE,” and includes lot codes ranging from 052625 to 090626.

These packages display the establishment number “EST. 40031” inside the USDA mark of inspection.

The labeling issue was uncovered during routine inspections by USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS), when personnel identified sesame as an ingredient that was not properly disclosed.

If you or a loved one has suffered losses due to consuming this, or any ACC Central Kitchen LLC product, you may be entitled to compensation. To learn more, contact the trusted personal injury attorneys at Breslin and Breslin today.
