Horizon Organic Dairy is recalling thousands of cases of its shelf-stable organic milk due to the potential of early spoilage.
The dairy producer, based in Colorado, is recalling 19,688 cases of its 8-ounce 12-pack of Horizon Organic Aseptic Plain Whole Milk due to heat damage during processing, which may cause the product to spoil early.
“Corrective and preventative actions have been implemented to prevent recurrence,” Horizon told Food & Wine. “This voluntary recall is not related to an allergen, microorganism, or any pathogen contamination, and no other Horizon Organic products are affected.”
