Toyota is recalling 100,000 vehicles due to potential debris in the vehicles’ engines that may cause the vehicle to stall, according to the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration.
According to the automaker, the recall includes 102,000 2022–2023 Toyota Tundra and Lexus LX vehicles.
There is a possibility that the debris in the engines had not been cleared when the engine was first assembled.
Toyota said in a statement that this can lead to “engine knocking, engine rough running, engine no start and/or a loss of motive power.”
These problems can increase the risk of a crash.
The automaker is currently developing a fix for this issue, and owners of the affected vehicles will be notified by late July 2024.
If you or a loved one has suffered losses due to driving these, or any, Toyota vehicles, you may be entitled to compensation. To learn more, contact the trusted and experienced attorneys at Breslin and Breslin.
