A national E. Coli outbreak has hit New Jersey with one confirmed case in the state, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
There have been 11 confirmed E. Coli cases so far across five states linked to Raw Farm’s Raw Cheddar cheese. The cheese is sold at retailers nationwide and has been recalled.
California has four confirmed infections, Colorado has three, Utah has two and Texas and New Jersey have one each.
The Food and Drug Administration is warning consumers to not eat, sell or serve Raw Farm-brand Raw Cheddar cheese products.
According to the CDC, five patients have been hospitalized and two developed hemolytic uremic syndrome, a serious condition that can lead to kidney failure. No deaths have been reported, the agency says.
If you or a loved one has suffered losses due to ingesting this, or any, Raw Farm product, you may be entitled to compensation. To learn more, contact the trusted product liability attorneys at Breslin and Breslin today.
