Popular Chicken Pot Pie Brand Recalled Over Misbranding Issue

On Behalf of | Oct 25, 2023 | (client-fulfilled) Personal Injury

Aunt Kitty’s Foods Inc., an establishment in Vineland, NJ, announced the recall of approximately 15,728 lbs of canned ready-to-eat (RTE) chicken pot pie soup products due to misbranding and undeclared allergens, according to the US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS).

The problem was discovered when the establishment notified FSIS that they conducted an inventory review and realized they used chicken with soy, a known allergen that was not declared on the label.

If you or a loved one suffered losses due to this, or any, misbranded product, you may be entitled to compensation. To find out more, contact the trusted personal injury attorneys at Breslin and Breslin today.
