Popular Soup from Trader Joe’s Recalled, May Contain Insects

On Behalf of | Jul 30, 2023 | (client-fulfilled) Personal Injury, (client-fulfilled) Product Liability

Trader Joe’s has issued another recall of one of its products from New Jersey shelves because of possible foreign object contamination, saying its Unexpected Broccoli Cheddar Soup “may contain insects.”

The affected product lots have a SKU # of 68470, and a “use by” date between July 18 and Sept. 15, 2023, said the specialty grocer. The supplier of that particular brand of soup alerted Trader Joe’s that it may contain insects, said the company.

Trader Joe’s has 18 locations in New Jersey.

Trader Joe’s said no customers have reported adverse health effects from eating the products, and did not specify exactly what insects the product could contain.

If you or a loved one has suffered losses due to consuming this, or any, Trader Joe’s product, you may be entitled to compensation. To learn more, contact the experienced product liability attorneys at Breslin and Breslin today.
