Family Dollar recalled dozens of over-the-counter treatments sold in New Jersey stores. The company shipped out many of the products during the same timeframe as a wave of more than 400 items that the retailer recalled earlier this summer.
The newest recall, which the Food and Drug Administration published Friday, involves several over-the-counter pharmaceuticals that the FDA regulates. The recalled products were shipped to certain stores on or around May 1 through June 10, according to the recall notice.
Family Dollar hasn’t received any consumer complaints or reports of illness related to the recall, saying the company is conducting it “out of an abundance of caution.” The company has dozens of potentially impacted New Jersey locations.
The company initiated a separate recall last week on certain Colgate products, but it doesn’t apply to New Jersey stores.
