Ocean Township police will offer a free car seat check-up session on March 8.
Trained child safety seat technicians will assist parents with child seat inspections from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Waretown Fire Department.
Technicians will check the manufacturer recall list to ensure that seats are safe.
Officers will also provide tips about seat belts, latch systems, air bags and more.
Appointments are not needed.
