The company issued a recall notice on June 10 for its brand of Matcha Green Tea flavored ice cream, according to a statement posted on the company’s website.
Though no injuries or illnesses have been reported so far, the retailer is urging consumers not to eat the product and to discard it or return it to any Trader Joe’s location for a full refund.
The company said all potentially affected products have been removed from store shelves and destroyed.
To determine if you may have purchased the recalled product, you can look for the SKU number 055740 on the brand of ice cream.
