Glass Shards Found in Trader Joe’s Applesauce

The product liability attorneys at Breslin and Breslin are reporting that Trader Joe’s has recalled several unsweetened apple sauces because of glass pieces that could be inside.

The chain said that all possible affected products have been removed from the shelves of its stores. If you have purchased the product they can be returned for a full refund at any store.

The affected brands sold in New Jersey are:

  • Trader Joe’s First Crush Unsweetened Gravenstein Apple Sauce with the bar code 00015905 and any code on the lid and the words “best before Aug. 08, 2018″
  • Trader Joe’s Organic Unsweetened Apple Sauce with the bar code 00194877 and any code on the lid with the “best before Oct. 06, 2018″ on the top.

Also affected but not sold in New Jersey:

  • Trader Joe’s All Natural Unsweetened Apple Sauce with the bar code 00014359 and any code on the lid with the “best before Dec.16,2018″ on the top.

Trader Joe’s has 11 locations in New Jersey.
