The NJ product liability attorneys at Breslin and Breslin are reporting that Wegmans Food Markets, which has seven New Jersey locations, issued a recall this week for several brownie products made by the companies bakery department and sold under the company label.
The items failed to list milk, a potential allergen, on the product label, Wegmans said in a statement issuing the recall. The products may be returned for a full refund.
The recalled products include:
- Wegmans Fudgy & Chewy Brownies with Chocolate Chips, 14 oz. (UPC: 07789032990). Only products labeled with a use by date of May 11 or later have been recalled.
- Wegmans Fudgy & Chewy Brownies with Walnuts, 14 oz. (UPC: 07789075773). Only products labeled with a use by date of May 11 or later have been recalled.
- Wegmans Brownie with Icing and Walnuts, Pan, 16 oz. (UPC: 07789037092). Only products labeled with a sell by date of May 8 or later have been recalled.
- Wegmans Brownie with Icing, Pan, 16 oz. (UPC: 07789082502). Only products labeled with a sell by date of May 8 or later have been recalled.
- Wegmans Chocolate Chip Brownie, 32 oz. (UPC: 07789098948). Only products labeled with a sell by date of May 8 or later have been recalled.
- Wegmans Chocolate Chip Brownie, 2 pack, 8 oz. (UPC: 07789098966). Only products labeled with a sell by date of May 8 or later have been recalled.
