Target Recalls Playground Toys Over Choking Concerns

On Behalf of | Apr 26, 2019 | (client-fulfilled) Product Liability

Target has issued a recall for an estimated 495,000 Bullseye’s Playground brand wooden toys due to a concern the wheels could come off and become a choking hazard for young children, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission recall notice.

The wooden toys were sold in an eight-pack assortment at Target.comonline for $8, and in individual packages in stores for $1 each in October and November 2018. There were four reports of the wheels coming off the toys, including one toy missing a wheel when the package was opened.

Parents should immediately stop children from playing with the toys and return them to Target for a refund, the CPSC said.

The item number, model number and UPC can all be found on a white sticker placed on the bottom of each vehicle.
