New Jersey Workplace Accidents

The New Jersey personal injury attorneys at Breslin and Breslin are saddened to hear this week that a 45-year-old North Bergen man was killed after a car crashed into a construction site on the Garden State Parkway where he was working. According to reports, a Ford Explorer traveling northbound on the Parkway crossed from the middle lane to the right lane where the construction site was assembled, crashing into workers, machinery and a parked vehicle. A second worker is being treated for moderate injuries at the Bayshore Community Hospital. As of this morning, the accident is still under investigation.

Find Out Now if Your Car Has Been Recalled

The New Jersey car accident attorneys at Breslin and Breslin are glad to announce that a new online search tool allowing you to check whether recall repairs have been completed on specific makes of cars, trucks, and motorcycles is now available. The free database, which is available on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's website, allows consumers to find out if the vehicle they are considering purchasing has any unaddressed safety issues. For the first time, car buyers will be able to enter the VIN (vehicle identification number) and learn almost instantaneously if that particular vehicle has been recalled.

New Jersey "Dog Bite" Laws

In light of the recent debate over the safety of pitbulls, the New Jersey personal injury lawyers at Breslin and Breslin would like to remind all NJ dog owners of the state's "dog bite" laws. New Jersey, like the majority of states, is a statutory strict liability state. This means that the dog owner is legally liable for all the damages inflicted upon a dog bite victim, even if the dog had never shown a propensity for attacking humans.

On the other hand, there are many things that can go wrong during delivery, even if the pregnancy itself was not complicated.

Plaintiffs win medical malpractice suit alleging retained object
